Bard of the South Presentation at Caldwell Parish Library

On Monday, June 17 the Bard of the South presented his Scots-Irish program at the Caldwell Parish Public Library in Columbia, Louisiana. The storyteller and roving troubadour presented songs, stories of leprechauns and saints, and facts relating to the Seven Celtic Nations. Pittman also presented information relating to his children’s picture books, The Irish Alphabet and the Scottish Alphabet and his Scots-Irish CD, The Minstrel Boy by the Bard of the South. ┬áThe audience varied in ages from infant to adult, and participation and interest was at a high level. Pittman performs at the Columbia Library annually. Here are some photos of today’s presentation:
